Last night I went out with a few wonderful friends for drinks to celebrate my birthday. We stumbled across this little underground spot on my street with a doorman standing out in the freezing cold, and we made our way inside.
I loved this place - dim lighting with white tile walls and rustic mirrors, intimate seating arrangements and a mix of old classics and sultry tunes from the DJ all night. The ambience was perfect for sharing drinks with close friends, and the crowd was just right. I love New York because it is so easy to just run into the perfect place to suit any mood or occasion.
So you wanted to drop that fact that you “found” a cool place to hang out, and then you go as far as to not mention the name, so that other non- New Yorkers don’t find it or ruin it for you. Really? Please describe this crowd, I need to know what “just right” means. Please go back from where you came from. Please.
